THE PHILOSOPHY

My programs are designed based on the principles of specificity, progressive overload and cyclic variation. Workouts are kept consistent just long enough for noticeable strength and hypertrophy gains, about 4-8 weeks. After this, a new cycle is employed with completely different exercises and overload mechanisms. This keeps workouts fresh and the body constantly guessing. In addition, each cycle includes dozens of therapeutic exercises used to strengthen some of the most commonly injured areas of the body.

Take the guesswork out of your workouts. Never again will you have to explain to the physical therapist how you threw your back out trying to perform a squat jump on a Swiss ball while simultaneously performing bicep curls but not past 90 degrees because some fitness guru on Instagram said it was the only way you’d lose that stubborn belly fat.

FOUNDER & HEAD DIETITIAN


Shameel Safiq is a Registered Dietitian, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Exercise Physiologist that has coached countless athletes, body-builders, moms, weekend warriors, and reformed couch potatoes with his innovative pain-free performance programs and systems.

With a B.S. in Nutrition & Food Science (Dietetics) from California State University, Chico and a M.S. in Biokinesiology from University of Southern California, Shameel blends his expertise of human metabolism with anatomy and physiology to help clients break through plateaus and reach new levels of optimum health.
